Swimming: If your child is interested in going swimming with the school please let us know as soon as possible by filling in the slip below and returning it to the school. Lessons will be for 6 weeks @ a cost of €30. The bus will cost €25 per child so the total cost will be €55 per child. This must be paid to the school before the first Swimming Lesson on April 22nd.

Uniform: We are all very proud of our uniform here in Eglish NS. Our students would like to show this pride by wearing their uniform every day. I urge you strongly to encourage and support your child in doing this.

Enrolment: Eglish NS is currently enrolling students for the 2013-2014 School Year so if you know of friends or family who will have a child beginning school in September, please encourage them to contact the school as soon as possible. Enrolment forms are available now at the school.

Mass: To conclude our celebration of Catholic Schools’ Week, there is a School Community Mass in St. Cuan’s Church, Ahascragh on Friday morning 1st of February at 10am. Please bring your child / children directly to the church on Friday morning and drop them back to the school after Mass.

Please be reminded, your child’s happiness and all-round educational development is our priority here in Eglish School. If you have any concerns in relation to this, please do not hesitate to let us know. To ensure that these concerns can be dealt with efficiently and in a dignified manner, please follow the steps as outlined in the Complaints Procedure Policy, a copy of which was sent home in September. Research shows that children perform best where there is a close link between home and school.

Many thanks for your ongoing support,

Le meas
