All students in Eglish NS are enabled to access, participate in and benefit from the curriculum on a par with their peers, taking into consideration their individual strengths and needs.
A weekly life skills class trains some of our students in some very important skills, from making a healthy snack for themselves to gardening, from remembering names and phone numbers to sewing and cleaning up after themselves and from counting and using money to making decorations and preparing items for the post.
During this class, students cooperate, collaborate and work together which also benefits and develops their social skills.
