The windows of a classroom should always be open to the future!

Thursday, 09th March marked a very significant, landmark day for primary school education: the launch of Ireland's first Primary School Curriculum Framework by Minister For Education, Norma Foley.IMG-20230312-WA0096jpg
Chief inspector Yvonne Keaton described it as a "relevant, principled and modern curriculum". Eglish NS' teachers amd students have been actively involved in the various consultations on the redevelopment of the primary school curriculum since 2015 and Eglish continues to be one of approx. 60 schools from across Ireland continuing to consult through NCCA's Schools Forum. This is true, meaningful changemaking: collaborating, engaging in consultations, having your voice heard, being agents of change, changemaking.

"We make a difference"
